MAVCHI
I started MAVCHI because my family and I wear socks every day — from the moment we wake up until we go to bed. Yet I found it surprisingly hard to find socks that were both good quality and easy to match. The better-quality socks often came in just black, white and grey, while colourful socks were usually made more for fun than everyday wear. I thought an everyday essential could be both well made and something you actually want to wear.
MAVCHI is about bringing a little more colour and joy to something so ordinary. I want you to open your sock drawer and find a colour that feels right for you today — something comfortable enough to wear every day, and good enough that you want to keep reaching for it.
The name MAVCHI came from the idea of matchy-matchy, with a little something from my family names too. For me, matching isn’t only about clothes. Sometimes it’s about matching with someone special. My son once told me he loved pink because his mum loves pink — and that little moment really touched me. Later, my daughter also loved matching with her family, and I realised how something as simple as colour can bring people closer.
I’m a small family business based in Victoria, creating quality, comfortable socks for everyone from toddlers to adults. I hope MAVCHI can bring a little more colour, comfort and happiness to your everyday — and maybe give you a reason to match with someone you love, too.
